Elsley Patented Door Knobs
A lovely pair of antique early 1900s brass mortice door handles by Elsleys of London. The patent refers to the way the handle is attached to the spindle without grub screws, the Rose plate has an offset hole for the handle, so the Rose plate screws onto the spindle not the handle. They have a simple cross pattern on the end of each handle, the pair have been cleaned and machine polished and are in a mid tone of brass. They've come off quite thick doors, so double check the measurements.
