A lovely quality antique late Victorian/Edwardian left handed rim lock with its 'Bissell & Co Wolverhampton' brass plaque on the front. Its got an RD# on the plaque which relates to the gravity operated handle bolt, it doesn't have a spring inside just a large counterweight, I assume it was sold as a 'springless lock'.
Refurbished and the wrought iron case lightly refinished, it has an original key and a later keep.
Condition:
Great original working condition, signs of old finishes.
