Large Sprung Bell System Crank

We currently have 1 in stock.

A large (largest we've seen) sprung crank/linkage for either a servants or front door mechanical pull system. Stamped Bryden & Sons on the main arm, it probably dates from the mid to late Victorian period. Sprung Cleaned and lightly polished, in full working condition with a strong spring. If it's positioned as in the main image, the action is pulling down on the large arm, to spring back.

Overall great working condition, some dents to pressed brass flower disc.

Diameter of flower disc: 85mm (2in)
Length main arm to centre: 120mm (4.75in)
Stock code: 1595/D/N
