A fantastic quality reproduction Victorian brass lincoln finger plate. Traditionally for protecting the finish on a door from finger & hand marks. Over the Victorian period the finger plate became an integral part of door decoration. The finger plate is manufactured from original patterns and is un-lacquered so will tarnish down in the traditional way (can also be polished).
