1920s Laboratory Basin Taps
A fantastic pair of refurbished & polished brass & copper antique laboratory taps from the 1920s. Surface mounted with standard 1/2'' BSP basin inlets, the copper spouts have brass ribbed ends for old style tubes. The ceramic indices are NOS replacements, all refurbished and tested at modern mains pressure. The spouts are adjustable, we've left them tightened, I have moved them and only hand tightened and they're fine, but I'm not sure how tight your grip might be. Like most lab taps the pair don't have a long reach, double check those measurements.
All our taps are fully compatible with modern plumbing & pressure. The vast majority of pre-1960ish taps have a square locating lug below the base for locating into the square hole on sinks & baths. Some modern sanitary wares don't have these square locating holes, so it's worth double checking the measurements.
Great original condition, marks and scratches as to be expected.
