Victorian Gibbons Recessed Rim Lock

A lovely quality refurbished late Victorian antique rim lock stamped Gibbons on the fore plate for right handed doors. Recessed so it goes into the door, the lock has also been cleaned and polished, it'll tarnish pretty quickly after a bit of use. The mortice type keep was being used with the lock and the key is a later replacement that's been antiques at some point.   

Like all recessed locks they need fitting fairly accurately so its worth double checking all the measurements. Its had an extra couple of screw holes drilled in the front.
