Large Victorian RH Brass Rim Lock

A quite substantial refurbished and polished late Victorian large antique rim lock with a flanged edge for right handed doors. Stamped Carter & Aynsley London on the for plate, both the keep and key are later additions. The spindle entry is on a diagonal so oval handles might look a bit odd.

Condition:

Great original working condition, a few marks and scratches. Its had a brass plinth attached under the keep to make it fit. Its not the best job we've seen but works well and you can't see it.
