A lovely quite detailed example of a relatively small 1900s solid brass lion head front door knocker, quite a large knocker section with probably a more recent brass strike plate. Unsure of age, probably early to mid 1900s. We've just cleaned the back and given the face a light polish, it'll tarnish pretty quickly after a bit of use. The strike plate does have a square locating lug on the back.
