Matching late Victorian/Edwardian oak antique finger plates, don't see that many finger plates in oak, I'm pretty sure they're an English oak. They'd be badly painted Black, it's been stripped and they've had a wax.

Good original condition, some light surface marks & signs of the Black paint here and there, they'll need a buff after fitting.
