Victorian Front Door Bell Pull

A sunken Victorian front door bell pull with a copper hand & bar pull on its original square pine block. This one probably dates from around 1880. The pull as a new return spring and a replacement grub screw, it's quite a stiff new spring but it can be slightly adjusted by moving it up the grub screw. We've had to slight reduce the size of the block as it was a bit rotten and its been finished with several coats of exterior lacquer.

Good working condition, quite a marks and scratches, I think the handle originally had a lead lining at the base.
