Mid Victorian Ebonised Door Handles

We currently have 1 in stock.

A lovely original pair of Gothic Revival antique door handles removed from the Gilbert Scott designed Midland Hotel, Circa 1875, with hidden screw back plates

The pair have been sympathetically refinished & waxed, unfortunately they had several layers of paint which needed removing. They were made for the doors they came off, so we've found some old spindles so they can be adjusted (see sizes & info). I think they are mahogany under the ebonising.

Sold as a pair.

Great original condition, patches of wear here and there, couple of bits of damage on the mouldings. We've replaced a few grub screws.
