Edwardian Door Knobs, Circa 1900
Lovely quality solid brass antique door handles dating from around 1900. The spindles are solid brass with a threaded collar that screws onto the spindle and secures the handle via a clip, The building dated from around 1900 and the handles were original to the doors. They were being used on mortice locks, but we tried them on rim locks and they work really well (the handle with the clip goes up against the door). Cleaned and machine polished.
Sold in pairs, we also sell these in sets.
Good original condition, some wear and marks to be expected.
