Decorative Edwardian Lever Handles & Latch
Stunning sets of large decorative lever door handles and original mortice latches. These were very recently removed from an early 1900's house in Wales so are either late Victorian or early Edwardian. They are a really early examples of high quality English lever door handles, another indication of their quality is that both the levers and the mortice locks (stamped A Smith Birmingham) aren't reversible and they weigh in at an impressive 2.5kg per set.
All the brass has been polished, the keep is new. They aren't reversible so only work on one side of the door, please check the image of the mortice the curved bolt section goes towards the keep. The spindle length is very limited we've supplied a spindle for a 34mm - 40mm thick door, if you need longer, please contact us. One of the levers has been removed from the locks? so it might be possible to make a new key, please contact us.
