Victorian Iron Letterbox & Pull
A great example of a late 1800s decorative antique letterbox with integral pull in cast iron. This particular version is quite large for its time, probably off quite a large door, we have had a smaller version before. The RD stamp on the reverse is a bit faded but dates the design to pre 1880. Many layers of old paint have been carefully removed and the letterbox has been refinished with an exterior oil to prevent it rusting
Any questions, please ask.
One side is more worn than the other, its obviously been pulled from one side more than the other.
