Victorian Brass Rim Latch

Quite simple antique late Victorian solid brass rim latch, they are actually rim locks with no keys but they have the additional working thumb latch. More than likely from bedroom doors, cleaned, polished and lightly oiled. The keeps are modern replacements, they are a different shade of brass but they will both soon tarnish to match. These aren't dual handed so only work the way round in the image (inside on the right), new keys could be made for £25 each.

Overall good condition, some marks and scratches on the lock case.
