Antique Gothic Door plate and Handles
A late Victorian solid brass door plate with a Gothic handle on one side and a smaller plainer handle for the other side. This was removed from a large arch top oak door that could have possibly come from a Church. It looked like it operated a mortice lock but could equally operate a rim lock. The item has been machine polished, easily polished when it starts to tarnish. Not sure the smaller handles was original to it but it works and sort of matches. The spindle has been cut for 40-55mm thick door, if you need any different please ask.
A few scratches and marks on the large plate, the holes around the keyhole have been filled with brass and there was a crack which we have filled and then polished back. The gothic handle has had a new circlip added as it was a bit worn.
