Antique Cast Iron Door Knocker
A traditionally designed late 1800's/early 1900's cast iron front door knocker depicting an acanthus leaf and a winged eagle, Its a good quality casting with some fine detail. The knocker has been cleaned and we've applied a specialist oil product that repels water. The bolt for the strike plate is limited on length, as it is it works on doors 50mm to 55mm any thinner and the bolt needs to be recessed into the door.
Good working condition, quite a bit of weathering and signs of old finishes, there is a small hole in the band across the front.
