7 Pairs Early 1900s Large Door Knobs

We currently have 1 in stock.

7 matching pairs of quite large antique mortice door knobs, dating from the early part of the 1900s, all from the same set of doors in a fairly mid tone of brass. Even though the Rose plate is a fairly standard diameter the handles themselves are quite substantial with an 80mm projection and weighing just over 600g a pair. The smaller identical versions are fairly common. Each pair have been cleaned and machine polished, they'll tarnish pretty quickly but easy enough to keep shiny if you prefer. Threaded spindles, so they could work with rim locks.

Sold as 7 pairs.

Good original condition, some wear and marks to be expected, a couple of minor dings and one plate was slightly bent from removal, see pics.
