Brass Kitchen Lever Mixer Taps, Circa 1930
A fantastic set of refurbished wall mounted lever operated mixer tap by Dent & Hellyer dating from around 1930. They would probably have been fitted over a Belfast or Butler type sink. The spout is fixed and the mounting bracket and inlets can be turned to face up. The set has been stripped and through a multi stage polishing process, easily polished when they start to tarnish. They have been stripped down the bases reseated, the valves stripped and repacked, one replacement jumper and replacement washers. Tested under pressure and compatible with modern plumbing. We've set them to be quite tight so the levers have to go right out to turn on the water, the levers can be set to me a more sensitive by undoing the top nuts and repositioning the levers.
Sold as a set.
Overall good condition, some light marks to the ceramic tops and some light surface marks. One of the backplates has a slight kink from removal it'll screw in flat and shouldn't show.
