1920s Door Plates
Quite large solid brass door plates, recently removed from 1920s school doors. They were being used as push plates but could work equally well as kick plates. The screw holes are countersunk (you can't really see in the image). Each plate has been cleaned and polished, easily repolished when they start to tarnish.
Some light surface marks and scratches we have polished out most of the deep scratches but they have been in daily use for nearly 100yrs. They were once chrome plated but it only remains on the back.
