Early 1900s Brass Rim Lock

A good quality solid brass cased antique rim lock, stamped Hand Made & Shifting Bolt on the curved foreplate. It probably dates from around 1900 - 1930, the lock takes a standard 7mm square spindle. The key isn't the original. Its been cleaned and polished but as it has a few scratches it will tarnish quickly. The keep is also new but unlacquered so it'll also tarnish.

Overall good working condition, We've polished out the deepest of the scratches but quite allot remain, I'm not sure if its been cleaned for years with a brillo pad or just had lots and lots of use.
