1920s Lever Door Lock Sets
Original set of brass lever door handles, mortice lock & keep, dating from the early part of the 1920s. These are lovely quality, the handles are slightly larger and the pressing is a bit thicker than usual. The locks are stamped with various Legge patents (dating from around 1915), have a double spring bolt and a solid brass faceplate, someone would have paid a little extra for these. The locks & are reversible so work on both left and right handed doors (they are all set as in the main image, we can switch them if you like), the keep and key are both original.
All cleaned & polished, the locks stipped down, cleaned and oiled.
Sold in sets.
Overall great condition, the locks are double sprung so they are all nice and tight. They were once copper plated, its all gone except for a few bits on some of the face plates and keeps, one keep is slightly smaller than the others.
