1930s Reeded Door Handles
Really unusual solid brass door handles from the 1930s, possibly a little later. In quite a Yellow brass and I'm pretty sure they were once all copper plated. They have an unusual way of adjusting the width, not only do they have grub screws they also have quite wide copper spacers inside the collars so you can also adjust the depth of the handle. Quite heavy at per pair and the Rose plates are quite large, ideal for covering old screw holes. Machine polished, they'll tarnish pretty quickly if you choose not to keep them shiny with a Brasso type product.
Sold in pairs, they'll fit with 99% of locks and latches.
Good original condition, some have wear to the reeding (see last pic), ring marks on the back and a few marks and scratches. We've had to replace most of the spacers with modern ones. Its a bit fiddly to get the right amount of spacers in.
