LH Brass Georgian Rim Lock

A lovely quality example of mid to late Georgian solid brass antique rim lock with thumb slide bolt for left handed doors. Refurbished and lightly polished, the key is of the correct period and the keep is a later addition. The key's not as long as some, if your door is over 50mm is might not work from the outside. It's the smaller Georgian spindle entry at 7mm square, we should supply and adapt handles for it if required. 

Condition:

Great original working condition, a few marks and scratches, we've fixed the escutcheon back on. It originally would have had a fixing plate on the back, it's missing so we've made a new back plate so the key works from both sides.
