Georgian Rim Latch/Lock & Knobs

A large original refurbished solid brass left handed antique Georgian rim latch/lock and oval Georgian style handles. From the early part of the 1800s, the solid brass matched knobs are definitely later (early 1900s). We've described it as a lock/latch, it does have it's original key (obviously only works from the outside), the keys been repaired at some point and it needs quite a turn to engage the lock. The keep has hidden screws, see last pic, we've made a couple of repairs to the handles & replaced the collar that held the handles against the lock with a bolt, it will need recessing a few mm into the door, its a bit fiddly, so we'll leave it connected (let us know if you want us to remove it)

Condition: 

Great original working condition, some marks and scratches especially around the handle entry. It would have originally had a frame to connect it to the door, its now got 3 screw holes instead & we've provided some round head wood screws (see pic).
