Lovely quality wide backset antique Edwardian mortice lock by Colledge & Bridgen. The locks has been lightly refurbished and the brass has had a polish. The key is a later addition, its a rim lock key, so a bit longer than a usual mortice key.
Ideal for slightly wider period doors or replacing damaged ones without making new holes.
Condition:
Great original working condition, the faceplate is quite worn & the keep has a couple of light bends.
